About the Author

Kate Batz is Managing Partner at Deep Knowledge Group, a leading consortium of Deeptech and frontier technology-focused subsidiaries. She is also Co-Founder and CEO of FemTech Analytics.

Having developed her career as a corporate lawyer (licensed in California and New York), Kate was always drawn to the advancing field of Longevity and the concept of healthy aging. In recent years, the Longevity Industry has emerged as a global megatrend, shaping the health and wealth of individuals, societies, and economies alike.

However, as advancements in Longevity science accelerate, one glaring gap remains: insufficient attention to women-specific health needs. Women, despite having longer life expectancies than men, often experience shorter healthspans, enduring years of age-related diseases and reduced quality of life. This disparity inspired the creation of "Women’s Longevity Vol 1: "Women of Today, Fertility to Menopause", a work dedicated to bridging this gap and empowering women with the tools, knowledge, and innovations necessary to optimize their health and longevity.

As a corporate lawyer-turned-health-industry strategist, I’ve spent years at the forefront of Longevity innovation, serving as Managing Partner at Deep Knowledge Group and spearheading the development of FemTech Analytics, a subsidiary uniquely focused on the convergence of technology and women’s health. This book draws on these experiences, combining data-driven analysis with practical guidance to chart the emerging frontiers of women’s health, from fertility to menopause care and hormonal health innovations to precision medicine and AI-driven longevity medicine and FemTech.

While writing this book, I was struck by how underrepresented women’s health needs remain in key sectors of Longevity. Menopause, for instance, affects over a billion women worldwide and incurs a staggering $26.6 billion annual economic burden in the United States alone. Yet only a fraction of OB-GYN programs address this complex life stage comprehensively. Through this book, I aim to highlight not only the unmet medical and economic needs in women’s health but also the revolutionary solutions transforming the landscape—from biomarker-based interventions and Longevity-focused protocols to emerging FemTech tools designed to empower women to thrive at every stage of life.
